ATD Congratulates The Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to work for.

There are eight factors that contribute to being selected as one of the ‘Best Companies’ to work for which are:-

  1. Leadership: how employees feel about the head of the company and senior managers;

  1. Wellbeing: how staff feel about stress, pressure and the balance between their work and home duties;

  1. My manager: people’s feelings towards their immediate boss and their day-to-day managers;

  1. My team: people’s feelings about their immediate colleagues;

  1. Fair deal: how happy the workforce is with their pay and benefits;

  1. Giving something back: how much companies are thought by their staff to put back into society, and the local community in particular;

  1. My company: feelings about the company people work for as opposed to the people they work with;

  1. Personal growth: to what extent staff feels they are stretched and challenged by their job.

We were pleased to see that one of the contributing factors towards creating a successful organisation is a proactive approach to Factor 6, Corporate Social Responsibility.

Across the Divide Projects offer a comprehensive range of CSR project solutions both in the UK and overseas.

We combine our expertise of running corporate events and charity expeditions with our intimate knowledge of the UK charitable sector, to source and help businesses deliver worthwhile community based projects. These CSR projects can be incorporated into business-focused events. Previous objectives have ranged from team building and leadership development, to change management and motivational incentives.

The use of CSR based projects carries real risk and is of real consequence. It therefore engages employees and carries a focus on personal, team and corporate values never really seen before in conventional training and development.  With our facilitation, the learning and team spirit is real and for the long term.

Our range of Open Charity Challenges, whereby employees can choose to raise money for a charity of their own choice and choose the type of challenge and destination that best suits them is extensive and can be provided as an added value service to your staff at no cost to the employer.   The corporate benefits of these challenges are far reaching, increasing individual and team morale as well as promoting individual endeavour and personal fitness.

Corporate Social Responsibility also directly reflects upon Factors 2 and 7, Wellbeing of staff and feelings about the company you work for respectively.

Everyone benefits when employees become fully engaged with their company.

If you would like to see your organisation deliver worthwhile community based projects then why not contact us today.  For more information on one of our international charity challenges, please visit www.acrossthedivide.com

Who knows…ATD may be congratulating your company next year.
