Mega Event success

After a year of intensive planning and the involvement of numerous interested parties ranging from the National Trust to Chilton Primary School the first Maggie's Mega Hike took place with over 800 of Scottish and Southern Energy employees taking part. Over 50 completed the full 50 miles Gold Route and truly fantastic achievement.





	06 MAY 2009 BBC 1 Blue Peter today 16.35 (wed 6th May) Today is the day that Blue Peter is showing a programme all about the Namibia 24 hour Ultra Marathon. Blue Peter presenter, Helen Skelton, took part in the race and came a very impressive 8th in a field of over 20 runners with only 12 finishing. The programme was featured in last weekend's Sunday Times as the Critics' Choice. more
